Palm Beach Divers offers you the very best PADI Dive Master Course.

Begin your scuba dive career with the first step – Padi Dive master. You’re eligible to start your PADI Dive Master training after 20 logged dives and successfully completing the PADI Advanced Diver and Padi Rescue Diver course. Working closely with a PADI scuba diving instructor, you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. The most fulfilling part of the Padi Pro course is learning to supervise dive activities and assisting with diver training.

Padi Divemasters are qualified to supervise and assist with both training and non training dive activities. Padi dive centers and resorts around the world need PADI Dive masters to assist with dive classes and guide underwater tours. PADI Dive Masters may conduct the PADI Discover Local Diving experiences and Padi Scuba Review programs for certified divers. They may also conduct the PADI Discover Snorkeling experience and the PADI Skin Diver course, as well as qualify to teach the Padi Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty and Emergency First Response courses (you need to do a separate course with a Padi Course Director to achieve this)

Are you a PADI Divemaster looking to take the next step?

You’re getting close. Now it’s time to start your PADI Dive Instructor Development Course (IDC). The IDC consists of two sections, the Padi Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Padi Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. This structure lets you divide the course into two blocks for schedule convenience if you need to. However, you may prefer to complete the two portions together, going through the entire Padi IDC in a minimum of seven days or longer (to prepare you better).

The first part of the PADI Dive Instructor Development Course (IDC) is the PADI Assistant Instructor course. This course provides you additional experience as a PADI Diving Professional and teaches you the PADI System of diver education.

The Padi Open Water Scuba Instructor program portion of the PADI IDC further hones your dive leadership and teaching skills to prepare you for life as a PADI Dive Instructor.

250 AWARE Divers and AU$2500 Raised For Conservation

September 2010 – Palm Beach Divers, Koh Lanta, Thailand gives regular donations to underwater conservation so far raising over AU$2500. Since January 2009 the Palm Beach team has inspired 250 individual divers to make a gift for underwater conservation.

Ingelise K. Bier, PADI Course Director at Palm Beach Divers said, “We organize Project AWARE cleanups throughout the year, have a mooring program, and a Shark AWAREness Specialty Program. Inspiring divers to donate to such a worthwhile nonprofit is another great way we can give something back to the marine world. We are proud to support Project AWARE Foundation.”

We are the only Padi 5 star (IDC) dive center that has their dive boat located at the most beautiful beach of Lanta, Pra Ae (or Longbeach) and we bring you directly from this beach on Koh Lanta to Koh Ha and Koh Phi Phi.

We joined you for 210 hours under water, we have had 336000 liters of air, 168000 liters of Nitrox and unknown amount of beers at night in San Sunset Bar or at the dive center. We went up to the Similan Islands in the end, managed to find a 2 day liveaboard going from Koh Lak. The diving was fantastic but nothing quite beat swimming with the mantas! That was magical! Beste Lisa en Lars, 2 dagen met jullie gedoken nabij Koh Lanta en heb 2 perfecte dagen gehad waarbij ik veel gezien heb onderwater. Alles is top geregeld en georganiseerd bij jullie. het was hier fantastisch, leuke behulpzame staf en mooie duiken gemaakt. We komen zeker terug, maar wanneer...!!! The diving has been great. We have seen from Manta's till nudibranch. The guideshave a great eye to find the special underwater environment. They have been verry helpfull diving the whole weeks.

Just finished open water and advanced with instructor Dee. Learned a lot, saw even more... Shark, school of barracudas, turtle, octopus, squid and a short glimpse of a beautiful beautiful manta. Thank you so much!

We saw a whale shark on our very last dive (secret garden) for our Koh Lanta trip. A fantastic ending to 5 days of fun diving. Apologies if my boys gave Palm Beach Divers a major headache underwater! Thumbs up to your dive operation, very good job done!

Hi guys, Just finished IDC (Instructor Development Course) with Lisa. Hard course, but very glad I did it here. I was trained perfectly and thats exactly what I needed. For the examination it was the best support I could think about. A lot of moral support :-) and a lot of talking. Even in pretty rough conditions, PBD ran a smooth operation and we had a cool dive. Saw some huge potato grouper and some peackock grouper as well nudibraches and lobster. Thanks to Hendrik for all the support and cheer!
